25 Nov 1772: Ruling against a motion in Supreme Court of Probate in Boston by John Yates of Stratford in the County of Fairfield and Colony of Connecticut Sadler, Paul Yates of New Fairfield in the same County Sadler Abner Yates of Douglas in the County of Worcester yeoman, Amariah Yates of Smithfield in the Colony of Rhode Island Yeoman and Benjamin Read of a place called East Hoosick in the County of Berkshire Yeoman and Elizabeth his Wife in her right, being some of the Children and Heirs of James Yates late of Uxbridge in the County of Worcester Sadler deceased, appeal proving of will on grounds the will was never signed, that he was under great bodily infirmities and so not of sound mind, certain clauses inserted due to undue influence of Elizabeth Yates the Executrix.
