But other facts suggest he is wrong, and so it is unknown if this James lived or died. Also, Vinton gives the birth year as 1753, but Woburn records give it as 1751. As Vinton must have referred to the original records, since he predates the published ones, he may be correct in his reading, based on the parents' marriage date and the birth of sister Hannah, assuming they followed the rules.]
