Modesto Bee, The (CA) - October 10, 1992 Deceased Name: James F. Pierce Sept. 26, 1913 -- Oct. 8, 1992 James Francis Pierce, 79, of Sonora, died Thursday at his home. Mr. Pierce was a native of Acampo and lived in Tuolumne County 35 years. He was the manager of Twain Harte Lumber & Hardware for 35 years. He was a member of East Belt Masonic Lodge and Shriners Club in Tuolumne County, and Scottish Rite in Stockton and the Mother Lode. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kessler of Sonora, and a daughter, Sue Pierce of Santa Cruz. The Neptune Society is in charge of cremation. Terzich & Wilson Funeral Chapel in Sonora is in charge of arrangements. Remembrances can be made to the Visiting Nurses Association / Hospice, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora 95370.
