He was the manager of Twain Harte Lumber & Hardware for 35 years. He was a member of East Belt Masonic Lodge and Shriners Club in Tuolumne County, and Scottish Rite in Stockton and the Mother Lode. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kessler of Sonora, and a daughter, Sue Pierce of Santa Cruz. The Neptune Society is in charge of cremation. Terzich & Wilson Funeral Chapel in Sonora is in charge of arrangements. Remembrances can be made to the Visiting Nurses Association / Hospice, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora 95370.
