  3.   Rose Catherine "Kate" Bilko, Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of St Benedict, died Feb 20, 2000. She was born Nov 25, 1914 in St Benedict, the daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Lantzy) Panaro. She married Augustine Bilko, who died Sept 11, 1980. Surviving are two sons: <snip>of Patton and <snip> of Altoona; a sister, <snip>of Johnstown, 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Papotto. A funeral Mass will be held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton. Committal will be made at St Joseph Cemetery, West Carroll Township. She was preceded in death by brothers: Bernard, Joseph, James and Paul; and sisters: Margaret Stachaura, Esther Hanley, Mildred Haining, Rita Bilko and Alice Micali. (Altoona Mirror, Feb 22, 2000)
