- James is listed on the 1861 census as living with James and Ellen Ormsby. - Maud McKenzie married "James" Ormsby in 1888. All of the children of Maud McKenzie, however, have William Ormsby listed as their father onboth birth and marriage certificates. The first child of Maud and William was born in 1889 which suggests that the marriage certificate listing "James" as the spouse was either wrong or incomplete. - I suspect that this "James" died young. - He may be the James Ormsby who died on 26 Nov 1879 in Orillia Matchedash of blood poisoning.
