James Micknab was a prisoner of the battle of Worcester in England. Him and many other Scotsmen were taken over on the John and Sarah from England and arrived in New England on Feb 1652. He became an indentured servant for the next 6 - 8 years either at the Saugus Iron works or another area in the Massachusetts area.[1]
