    Loney - Passed away at St. Mary's hospital on July 31, 1935, James B. Loney of Crescent, B. C., in his 70th year. Born in Carlton County, Ontario and had been a resident of the Fraser valley since 1890. He leaves to mourn his passing, besides his wife, three sons, John S., J. Austin and Roy S., all of Surrey; two daughters, Mrs. J. Fisher, Ocean Falls, and Mrs. P. Smith of Vancouver, B.C. Also three grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon, August 3rd at 3 o'clock from Christ Church, Surrey, Reverend H. U. Oswald officiating. interment in the Surrey Centre cemetery. Columbia Funeral Service in charge.

    Marked by an attendance of about 200 friends and residents of Surrey, the funeral of James B. Loney, Crescent, and former well known resident of of Sullivan, who died July 31, was held from Christ Church, Surrey Centre, to Surrey Centre Cemetery. Reverend H. U. Oswald of White Rock conducted the service.

    The honorary pallbearers were Warren Creelman, Herbert Gilley, Alex D. Matheson, William Johnson Sr., T. J. Sullivan, and D. E. MacKenzie. Active pallbearers were J. J. Brown, Harry Dolan, James Henderson, Leland Hornby, Donald Nesbit and E. G. Harper.

    The Columbia Funeral Service had charge of funeral arrangements.
