John Crane of Dighton dec'd; daughters Lydia Brettin, Sarah Hodges, Elesebeth Hall, Abigail Dean dec'd, and Darkis [Dorcas] Leonard; "My Late Father in Law Mr Anthoney Culiver" and my late wife Lydia; grandson Zephaniah Leonard; grandaughter Abigail Dean & other children of my daught Abigail Dean dec'd; brothers Thomas and Uriah Leonard; Indentured servants Patriarch Robinson and Abigail Robinson. His brother Thomas came to New England "when a small boy" (NEHGR 5:407), so it is likely that James was also born in Great Britain (possibly Wales), but it is possible he was born in New England, in which case it might have been Lynn, where his father was in 1651 (NEHGR 5:414b). However, the ironworks at Lynn was not operating until 1646 (Wikipedia), so it seems unlikely that the Leonard brothers were in New England until then.
