[Note: the identification of the parents is wrong. No son James is named in the will of that Samuel Johnson, nor in the division of his real estate. It also seems possible that the marriage to Rebecca possibly belonged to the son of Samuel and Ruth, since the two marriages are so close together and no death record is found for Rebecca.]
