DEATH: James Arnold Gillum, age 60, of Vancleve, KY, passed away Friday, January 19, 2001, at his home. Born December 30, 1940, he was the son of Inez Gillum of Mt. Vernon, KY, and the late James Gillum. He was a retired coal miner. Survivers include two daughters, Donna Gillum of El Paso, TX, and Sherri Lynn Gillum of Cincinnati, OH; four sisters, Audrey Proctor of Cincinnati, OH, Jean Finch of Milford, OH, Carrol Marrow of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Christine Bushelman of CA; three brothers, Danny Gillum, Cecil Gillum and Paul Gillum, all of Vancleve, KY; and one grandson, Terry of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Shelia and Shana Kay, and one brother, Gary Gillum. Funeral services were Monday, January 22, 2001, at 11:00 AM, at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Gillum & Young Cemetery, Morgue Fork, KY. Pallbearers were family and friends. Watts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
