    Thursday, 25 January, 1883

    Fulton James Fulton of Macomb, brother-in-law of R.N. Bonham of Calhoun, Missouri died at his residence on North McArthur Street in Macomb on January 19th aged 79 years. He was born in Flemming (sic) County, Kentucky on 14 April 1804. He lived in that locality until
    manhood. On 31 January 1826 he married Miss Mary Bonham who still survives. They had 2 sons and 10 daughters, all grown. All are now living except two. In 1829 they came to Illinois to Sangamon County and in 1835 to McDonough County, Eldorado Twp, living there until 1860 when he came to Macomb Twp. He was a member of the Christian Church, first uniting with the congregation at Vermont, Fulton County. The funeral was Monday burial at the Oakwood Cemetery.
