    In Persia, Cattaraugus co., on the 21st of Sept. Mr. James Crandall of Brookfield aged 76. He went to Persia to visit his friends, while on the way he was taken sick and survived only about six days after he arrived. He had been a member of the S.D.B. Church for more than fifty years. His death was peaceful, though from home, and we trust he has gone to reap the fruits of his labors.
