    James G. "Jim" Clark, 85, passed away at 10:20 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. He was born April 18, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois son of the late Abraham and Edna (Cassidy) Clark. He was united in marriage to Hilda (Gehlhausen) Clark Hoffman, Alice (Neyenhaus) Clark and Betty Talbott Clark, all of whom have passed away. Also preceding him in death was his sister Loretta Clark McKim. Jim retired from the Indiana Department of Correction where he served in several managerial positions including, Parole Agent, Camp director of the Henryville Youth Camp and Supervisor of Youth Camps. He was also employed as a Job Corps Counselor and as a Indiana Excise Policeman. After retirement he moved to Tell City and started several businesses including the Clark Egg Company, Clark Auto Sales and a home rental business. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. Jim was a member of Harry G. Myers American Legion Post #142, where he recently received an award as a 50 year member. He is survived by two sons, Pat Clark (Sheila), Birdseye, and Rich Clark (Ruthie), Ferdinand; step-son Joe Neyenhaus (Connie), Tell City; a close friend and business partner Jeff Pierrard (Fay), Tell City; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM CST Friday, August 5, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery where there will be military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion. Fr. Jack Durcholz will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 8:30 AM until service time on Thursday.
