Burns Fatal to Gas Line Welder
San Antonio, Texas - James Cicon, 32, of Chester, Mont., died here Tuesday of burns received in a welding accident July 10.
Cicon, who was flown to Brook Army Medical Center July 11, had burns over 55 to 60 percent of his body.
He was welding on a gas line at a Montana Power Company gas well 25 miles north of Chester in the Sweetgrass Hills when a spark ignited the explosion in which he was burned.
