Children of Thomas Capen [#202], s/o James Capen [#95] and Sarah Pinson, and Mary Wyman: James [#434], b. 10 Oct 1763 [no further information given].
[Note: it appears that this source has conflated these two people. It strikes one on reading that a man born in 1736 is too old to be likely for almost every event given by the biography for James 201. Then age of the man who died in Putney has an age at death that matches James 434, as does the 1800 census in Leominster. Nothing in the information given for James 201 would be inconsistent with James 434, so in total, the conclusion is that this entire biography actually belongs to James 434. What happened to James 201 is undiscovered. Added note: see the deed cited below.]

James Capen.
[Note: there is no evidence here that this is based on any actual burial. The death information would appear to come from the death record cited above, but ignores the age at death without explanation or acknowledgment, and then parrots the Capen Genealogy, showing that this actually is personal research and not a primary source.]

[Note: this deed which is referenced without identification by the Capen Genealogy, proves James Capen of Lancaster is the nephew, grandson of James and Sarah (Pinson) Capen, and not their son.]
