Will of James Capehart of the County of Mason and State of Virginia
Names: wife Emeline, gives her one thousand dollars and one hundred and fifty acres of land deeded to him by Samuel Lewis, dec'd.
Names wife and daughter Mary Alice, son James Capehart, "my daughter Mary Alice my farm in Putnam County West Virginia known as the Simpkins Farm containing 381 acres at a valuation of fifteen thousand dollars also two hundred and fifty shares of stock in the Clifton Coal Company now operating in the said County of Mason about one mile above the town of West Columbia at a valuation of thirty thousand dollars also a fraction of Lut No. 4 in the 1st Tier of the Town Lots of the ___ of Point Pleasant together with the store house ware houses and other buildings ___ same at a valuation of fifteen thousand dllars and a house and Lot in the Town of Point aforesaid known on the plot of the same as the North West quarter of Lot No. 14 in 2nd Tier at a valuation of one thousand five hundred dollars".
Son James Capehart and Daughter Mary Alice to get division of personal estate between them.
Gives to Franklin Stribling Smith and Edgar Garretson Smith, children of William Smith and Nannie Smith of the Town of Point Pleasant in said County the sum of one thousand dollars each to be paid them as they respectfully arrive at the age of twenty one years.
Nominates and appoints James H. Couch and son James Capehart Executors
