  5. ↑ O'Gorman has his birth year as 1834. The obituary for 1912 (Green Ridge Local News, Apr 26, 1912) has his birth year as 1835. The Green Ridge Local News for Nov 17, 1911 states he is celebrating his 78th birthday, which would make his birth year 1833. His death certificate (available online) has his age as 76 and his birth year as 1836. (The informant was his son Fred Calvert.) To fit with the birthdates of his siblings as given by O'Gorman, the birth year of James S. Calvert would have to be 1834. Sylvester Calvert was born 17 Feb 1833 and Elizabeth was born 15 Apr 1836, therefore the only year in which he could have been born on Nov. 17th would be 1834.
