MIGRATION: In August of 1818 James and Alice [Thistlethwaite]Binns and seven children, in company with David and Margaret[Holden] Binns and Samuel and Hannah [Green] Binns and their families, sailed from Liverpool on board the ship "Juno". Theyarrived at Philadelphia Port of Entry in October, after ajourney of two months.

PA. Recorded 4th day of May 1826. See extracts Prov. MM (1793-1869). Transfer: James Binns presents certificate from Knaresborough Meeting at Otley, Yorkshire (Old England) 10 day 8 month 1818, for self, wife Alice (now deceased) & 7 children namely -- Sarah, Margaret,William, John, Joseph, Wilson and Hannah with endorsements from Short Creek MM in Ohio dated 18 May last. Received and accepted. 7th month 20th day 1819. (See extracts, as above).
