"James Bennet: son of Francis Bennet of Boston, came here with his mother, who had married a second husband, Ralph Hutchinson. James Bonnet was slain in returning from the Falls Fight, May 19, 1676, aged 24. He married Mary Broughton, February 18, 1675, and left one child. His sister, Elizabeth Bennet, married a Hurd of Boston; and she and Mary Field sold the house and lot in Boston, that had been Francis Bennet's, for 45 L., September 15, 1697."
