Jacque Brown, 57, of 322 Stinebaugh Dr. Wapakoneta died at 12:30 a.m. in his home following an extended illness. Born in Ohio City, he was the son of Gaylord and Hazel (Hoffman) Brown. On November 24, 1946, he married Helen Kloeppel who survives. Also surviving are three children, Mrs. John (Pamela) Carpenter of Akron, David E. of Steubenville and Kevin of Delaware; and three brothers, Hoyt of Albuquerque, NM, Philip Dewitt of Midland, MI and Dr. William E. of Powell. Mr. Brown was a World War II Army veteran and member of the First English Lutheran Church where he had served on the church council. He also was a former Wapakoneta City Councilman. Mr. Brown was manager of Stinebaugh Lumber for 28 years. Services were at the church with the Rev. H. Eldon Akerman and burial was at Greenlawn cemetery.
