FORTIN (KRAAN), Jacoba W. ""Coby"" (August 26, 1942 September 26, 2010) - peacefully with her family by her side, Coby Fortin (formerly Kraan; nee Vander Stelt) passed away on Sunday, September 26, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear mother to Michael (Donna), Janet (Rob) and Dave (Ida). Grandma to eight wonderful grandsons, Brad (Ashley), Jeff (Melissa), Matthew, Jordan, Adam, Colin, Jeremy, and David. Great-grandma to Alanna, Dani-Lynn, and Makayla. Will be missed by her brothers and sisters, Jenny, Mary, Johanna, Tom, John, and the late Annamarie. A funeral mass and celebration of Mom's life will be held at ST. JOSEPH'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St. S., Bowmanville, on Thursday, September 30, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the church hall.
