JACOB POOLE, b. say 1663; d. at Braintree shortly before 25 February 1686/7, apparently unmarried (on 25 February 1686/7, "Timothy Winter now dwelling in the town of Brantrey do acknowledge to have received of the constables of the said town . by several rates made by the selectmen to defray the said town debt & according to their order to pay unto the said Timothy Winter with the town cow which he received of widow Scant by the selectmen's order in full for his keeping, dieting, lodging & clothes for Jacob Poole deceased for the whole time of his abode unto his death & burial" [BrTR 24]).
