Transcript of Will The Will of Jacob Panting of Chisledon in the County of Wilts and Diocese of Sarum. In the name of God Amen I Jacob Panting of chilsedon in the county of Wilts yeoman do this Twenty Seventh Day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and seventymake ordain publish and declare this only to be my last will and Testement in mannar following (that is to say). First I give and bequeath unto my my son Jacob Panting the Sum of One hundred andSixty pounds to be paid to him within Twelve Monthsnext after my Decease by my executor herinafter named. Also I give and Bequeath unto him my said sonJacob all my wearing apparel and also the Bed, Bedstead and Bedding with the appurtonances whereon he now lyeth and also six chiars. Also I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law David Sheppard of Chisledon aforsaid Blacksmith the sum of Forty Pounds to be paid to him within Twelve Months next after my decease by my Executor herin after named. Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah the sum of Eighty pounds to be paid to her or my said daughter within Twelve Months next after my Decease by my executor herein after named. Also I give and Bequeath unto my loving wife Sarah my best Bed Bedstead and bedding with the appurtinances and also all the furniture in the room wherein we now layeth. Also I give an bequeath unto her my siad wife the sum of Eight pounds a year during the term of her natural life payable half yearly by my executor herein after named. And lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my goods chatlles and credits of what nature sort denomination or kind whatsoever or wheresoever after all my just debts legacy and funeral expenses are fully paid and satisfied. I give and bequeath the same to my son John Panting and I hereby appoint him my said Son John Panting whole and soleExecutor of this my last will and testement hereby revoking all former wills and codiciles to wills by me made. In Witness whereof I the said Testator Jacob Panting have to this my lst will and Testement put my hand and seal the day and year first above written-Jacob Panting-signed sealed and published and declared by the said Testator Jacob Panting as and for his last will and Testement in the presence of us.
