Notes

Jacob McPherson, was the son of Alexander McPherson and Mary Beall. He married Phoebe Lugar who was the daughter of Adam Lugar and Anna Margaret Clapp.
Jacob married Phoebe on 8 Feb 1803, Montgomery, Virginia. To this union were born: Margaret "Peggy" 1804-1823, Alexander 1805-1898, Mary Polly 1807-?, Adam McPherson 1809-1888, Anna 1813-1874, Jacob 1815-1903, Cynthia 1821-1880, Charity Anna 1823-1880 and Phoebe 1824-1890.
