Huffman, Jacob F.

Jacob F. Huffman, who died Monday morning at 10 o'clock at his home in Lancaster was born December 24, 1859, in Wells County, Indiana. He was the son of John and Susannah Huffman and is the last of a family many of whom attained great age. His mother lived to be 99 years old.

Mr. Huffman was married first to Mrs. Rose Minnich Cloud and to them a son Elijah, who lives at Hammond was born. A step-daughter, Mrs. Henry Heaston, also survives from this marriage. The first wife died Jan. 27, 1928. The second marriage was to Emma E. Lewis who died Jan. 31, 1932, and the third was to Mrs. Laura Gard, who survives.

Mr. Huffman was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Lancaster where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. W.C. Stinebaugh and the Rev. Charles C. Payne officiating. Interment will be in the Lancaster cemetery.
