    Serene Farmer contributed this information from the Bible of her Great-grandmother, Mary Magdalene Dillman Aldridge Harp, 1830-1929, who received it from her brother, John Harvey Dillman, 1832-1919.

    Jacob Dillman Daga came to America from Germany or Switzerland, in the early 19th Century. He dropped the Daga and named his first son, Jacob Dillman, who was born in Virginia and was married to Margaret Lehman. They came to Preble County, Ohio, before the 11th of January 1819, as that is the date of his will.
