Funeral Services for Jacob Deschner, 89 of Mt. Vernon, Rt. 3, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Freistatt with the Rev. W. J. Shelling officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Hickman Funeral Home.
Mr. Deschner was a retired farmer who came to Lawrence County from Kansas as a small boy and lived here since. He died Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Lawrence County Nursing Home.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Esther Osterloh and Mrs. Della Garoutte of Freistatt and Mrs. Bertha Rusch, Wheaton, Minnesota; two sons, Willard and Erwin of the home; one brother, William Deschner, state of Kansas; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Honious, Mrs. Kate Kreft, and Mrs. Maggie Lampert, all of the state of Kansas.
