There no good records on Jacob, but a number of ancestry.com records place him here. So here it is, for now. If Hannah died in 1858, this might explain the loss of records. His middle name matches with his putative mother. The newly updated Find A Grave record gives good information.

    "Jacob G. Crumrine died at his home, 97 Ritter Street, Mansfield, March 10, 1903, after a week's illness with pneumonia, aged 78 years, 6 months and 25 days. He was born in Washington County, Pa., August 15, 1824, and married Hannah Swank, May 2, 1849. Moved to Wyandot County in the fall of 1851. He was one of the early pioneers of that county. To them were born three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Hamilton and Mrs. Anna E. McKinney, of Bellville, O., and Mrs. Sappho A. Cornell, of Greenfield, Mo. Deceased was united in second marriage to Mary Bane of Washington County, Pa. To them were born three daughters, Alice Nafzgar of River Side, Cal., Myrham J. Burkholder of Mansfield, Alpha I., deceased. Te funeral services were held at the residence Thursday, at 1 p.m., by the Rev. F.A. Gould of the M.E. church. Interment in the Mansfield Cemetery."
