Date: 7 Mar 2001 3:12 PM GMT Post Reply | Mark Unread | Report Abuse I am looking for ancestors of my step grandfather John Kindig, born in Fulton Co., IN Feb. 8, 1873 and died March 4, 1954 in a clinic in Logansport. His mother was Catherine Swartzlander (dates unknown) and William Kindig (dates unknown). He married my widowed grandmother, Iva Luella Duckwall on March 30, 1916 in Indianapolis. They moved from there to Noblesville, IN in the late 1920s. As a child in the 1940s and 50s, I remember going to Kindig family reunions in Rochester, IN. He told me his father had two wives, that he was one of 13 children, and the last one born was named Welcome.
