  1. ↑ 1.0 1.1 It would appear that neither death date is correct. According to the research of D. Inman, quoted in Frank Fisher's RootsWeb submission (database=gamorris), the inventory of Israel's estate was dated 13 Jan 1761. The probate record is dated 10 Feb 1761. There is a comment that possibly these dates were supposed to be split year 1761/2, but split year dating ended in 1752, so presumably these dates were truly in 1761. Thus, he must have died before 13 Jan 1761.
