[Note: no parents are named, so this was probably recorded as part of Israel and his wife's family register, i.e., in the 1770s. This would cause the month to be interpreted as September, which was the 9th month when he was an adult, but was not the 9th month in 1749 (November was). In his wife's case, her birth recorded as 9th month in this same family register is indeed listed as September under her maiden name, indicating September is correct. Source:Morris, Gordon Alan.
