He and his wife and family are listed in the 1850 Census of Lewis County, Virginia. Isaac Trader and Sarah Ford owned land along Three Forks Creek in Taylor County, WV. On 09 Oct 1847, Isaac and Sarah (Ford) Trader sold 115 acres of land along Three Forks Creek to Mary Simpkins of Monongalia County, Virginia. On 13 Apr 1850, a Commissioner's Report was recorded in the Taylor County Clerk's Office, which discussed the effects of the proposed Baltimore and Ohio Railroad upon the lands of Isaac Trader. Lastly on 29 Jun 1852, Isaac Trader himself sold 100 acres of land on Three Forks Creek to Isaac M. Hall. On 17 April 1884, Isaac Trader of Gilmer County, WV agrees to transfer all his personal property whatsoever to Jacob Trader of Gilmer County, WV. References
