[Note: This looks like 1764 and is reported as such in Allred, but this would be incompatible with the parents marriage in July of 1765. There was a colonial style of writing sixes that can resemble a 4 (circle collapsed to just a line), and it is assumed the Bible record or whatever earlier source this was clearly copied from (volume 2 title page indicates book started "1805") was mistranscribed. No additional information that helps illuminate this issue has been located. It would appears he was over 16 in 1790, over 24 but under 45 in 1800, over 45 in 1820, all of which are consistent with either year.]
