Isaac Perry was born around 1824 at Aspley Guise in Bedfordshire, son of Alice Perry, formerly Flint, and her husband Thomas Perry, a labourer. No baptism record has been found for Isaac or most of his siblings, although his parents had married at Aspley Guise in 1821. Isaac appears in the 1841 census living with his mother and siblings at the hamlet of Woburn Sands in the parish of Aspley Guise.

On 23rd September 1846, Isaac married Hephzibah Cook at Aspley Guise. They went on to have a son, William, the following year. Hephzibah died in April 1849, aged nineteen.

On 18th September 1850, Isaac married again. His second wife was Sarah Ann Dale, at they married at Crowland in Lincolnshire, nearly sixty miles north-east of Aspley Guise. The 1851 census finds Isaac, Sarah and Isaac's son William living at Dogsthorpe in the parish of Peterborough, with Isaac working as an agricultural labourer. Later that year Isaac and Sarah would have a daughter, Pamela, born at Dogsthorpe.

Some time between 1851 and 1855 the family returned to the Aspley Guise area. Isaac and Sarah had another three children born in the Woburn district, which covered Aspley Guise, between 1855 and 1859, although two of them died as babies.

The 1861 census finds the family living at Weathercock Lane in Aspley Guise, with Isaac described as a labourer.

Isaac died shortly after the 1861 census. He was said to be 37 years old. Sarah appears to have survived him by four years.
