Hawk, Isaac - born 8/13/1759 in Frederick County, Virginia; entered service 1777 in Hampshire County, Virginia; resided there until 1794, thence Bath County (later later Pocahontas County) Virginia; Pensioned 1833 latter County; query letter in file states soldier's father Isaac Sr. was Revolutionary War soldier whose eldest son was Abraham.
