Bio: ISAAC B. GILMORE Isaac B. Gilmore, 88, of Piqua, died at 9:15 pm Thursday March 27, 2014 at Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home. He was born November 1, 1925 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Robert and Margaret (Beatty) Gilmore Sr.. He married Helen D. Russell June 6, 1953 in Xenia; she preceded him in death November 13, 2010. Survivors include a son Robert B. Gilmore of Piqua; a brother Robert Gilmore Jr. of Kentucky; a sister Hattie B. Maupins of Dayton and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters. Mr. Gilmore a high school graduate and retired from factory work. He, along with his wife, owned Rossville Museum and served as its Curators. He was very active with the Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed fishing. A service to honor his life will begin at 4:00 pm Sunday April 6, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Allen Preuss presiding.
Private burial will take place at the Rossville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
