Bio: Isaac Demarest was a grocer in Dayton. He was born in New York City and was an original subscriber to the 1841 Woodland Cemetery Association. Issac died on January 26, 1843 at the age of 44. He was one of the hundreds of removals from the Old Fifth Street Cemetery and was re-buried at Woodland on December 10, 1844.
