  2.   A possible ALTERNATE name is: Addie M Sherwood b. 31 May 1862, d. 19 Aug 1862. Information is based on her tombstone found in the Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville, MI. I believe this might be the same person as entered by someone else as Ida M. with different dates. I note the additional circumstantial information that father Reuben had siblings with similar names to Addie M and Clara J, Adaline M and Clarissa J., suggesting that Reuben named these two daughters for those two sisters. I'm reluctant change the name in this database since the 1900 Census for her mother Ruth C Sherwood, living with son Elmer in San Francisco, CA, declares that Ruth had given birth to five children of which only 2 lived to adulthood (those being Elmer and Clyde).
