[Board.FBC.FBK.FTW] Mrs. Ida Jameson Here 70 Years, Dies Mrs. Ida Jameson, 90, a native Californian and a Tularean for 70 years, died here last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mada) Whitside, 303 No. I street. Mrs. Jameson, who celebrated her 90th birthay two weeks ago, was the widow of Irving Jameson and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Roberts. Her father was manager of Oakland colong, southwest of Tulare, from 1888 on for a number of years. The colony had been established previously by his brother, Amos Roberts, Oakland. She was born in Dixon and came here with her parents in 1888. Her father was a Civil war veteran and came to California right after the war, settling in Dixon, where she was born May 14, 1868. After her marriage the Jamesons moved to a ranch on No. Blackstone. He died in 1941. In addition to Mrs. Whiteside, Mrs. Jameson is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Doris E. Brennan, Tulare; a son, Lowell R. Jameson, Fowler; now with the army in Korea; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Goble chapel, conducted by Mrs. Paul Yager for the First Church of Christ, Scientist. Burial will be in Tulare cemetery. References
