An unnumbered page of a book identified as "Crowsons in America" by William L Crowson is attached as a memory to L4S2-5K9? Richard Crowson (1770-1826) in the FamilySearch Family Tree. Note that William Larry Crowson wrote "The Crowson Family of America" (1979), while "Crowsons in America" was written by Robert Lee Crowson (1986), so it isn't clear which book this came from.
Amongst other things about Richard's life, the page says that:
Richard Thomas Crowson, eldest child of William Crowson and Mary Thomas, was born April 17, 1770 in North Carolina and moved with his parents to Eastern Tennessee about 1791 and then to Madison County, Alabama in 1797. He died November 6, 1826.
He married Huldah Lindsay (born about 1775 and died prior to 1814) about 1791 and they had 12 children: William M, David, Aaron, Joshua West, Rachael T, Thomas, John C, Nancy, Rebecca, Sarah, Huldah, and Mary.
Richard's second wife was Sarah Moore, with whom he had 3 children: Richard Moore, Martha H, and Margaret.
