    "Huldah (Hopkins),5 b. 22 December 1725; m. 15 December 1749, Abijah Richards, b. at Waterbury 26 January 1717-18, son of Thomas Richards, b. 9 August 1685, and Hannah Upson, b. about 16 March 1695. She d. 4 October 1773 [According to Waterbury Vital Records, her husband died 4 October 1773. Her death is not recorded]. Like her distinguished brothers, Mrs. Richards is said to have possessed strength of mind and character."
