- 1736, May 13, John Barclay procures warrant for 150 acres on West Branch of Octoraro Creek adjoining lands of James Purtle and Hugh Barclay.
- 1748, April 23, Hugh Barclay procures a warrant for 30 acres adjoining his other land in Colerain township.
- 1749, May 17, John Barclay procures a warrant for 200 acres in Colerain township next to lands of Hugh Barclay and Robert Allison.
- 1752, August 5, John Barclay procures a warrant for 25 acres next to his other land in Colerain township (patented this day) and next to land of Hugh Barclay and John Gilmore.
- 1759, October 26, Hugh Barclay of Colerain township, Lancaster County, to Jacob Bare of Bart Township, Lancaster County, Conveys 200 acres acquired February 21, 1745, from James Murphy and wife.
Will of Hugh Barclay
- On April 2, 1764, was proved the will of Hugh Barclay of Colerain Township, dated March 9, 1754. Mentions son Hugh Barclay; son (sic) John McConnall; daughter Mary Barclay; son William Barclay; and wife Mary Barclay. The children seemed all to be under twenty-one.
- Executors: John McConnall and Joseph Miller. Witnesses: Daniel McConnall, Martha Barclay and Margaret Barclay, of Lancaster County.
