From Amarillo Globe Times, Thursday, April 23, 1959, p. 21

Last rites of respect for Hoyt H. Hyde, 46, former resident of Amarillo, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Griggs-Pioneer Chapel with Congregational Servant M. J. White of the Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.

Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mr. Hyde was killed in a highway accident Tuesday afternoon near Albuquerque, where he was employed as a salesman for a furniture company.

The family had moved to Lubbock last January. While living in Amarillo, Mr. Hyde worked as a salesman for several Amarillo furniture firms. The family home was at 2038 Ong.

Mr. Hyde was born Jan. 5, 1913, in Eldorado, Okla.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lacreta Hyde; two daughters, Michael Josephine and Kathy Ann; a son, Patrick Hyde; his mother, Mrs. Ola M. Hyde of Nashville, Tenn., and a brother, Daniel Hyde of Wichita Falls.
