Preston, the faithful wife whose presence has been spared by a kind Providence to cheer the declining years of his life. Her parents were Horace and Patty Preston. Her father was a farmer and millwright in Luzerne County, Penn., where their daughter, Harriet, was born January 6, 1808. The parents moved to Washington County, Ohio, in 1816, where the father was engaged in. the erection of mills, and also in the pursuit of farming, until his decease in 1828. ...
