Homer B. Wardwell Buried Services Take Place at Home of Mayor Wardwell, Cambridge The funeral of Homer Burnham Wardwell, son of Mayor and Mrs. Walter C. Wardwell of Cambridge, took place at the home of the mayor on Broadway, yesterday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Woodman Bradbury. There were many floral tributes, including pieces from the city hall, the police department, the fire department, Mayor Hibbard and others. Burial was private." -The Boston Globe 15 February 1909
