Bio: Though Homer's tombstone gives him as born 28 April 1896, Osage census information from 1908 gives him as Grah-e-grah-in-ka born 14 April 1906, he was 4 years of age in the 1910, census, and in the 1919 news for his tragic death he is given in several articles as 11-years-of-age. The allotment lists him as Grah-egrah-in-ka Homer Bigheart, deceased, #789. I would go with the birth date as in the 1908 census, April 1906.
