Children of Joseph Newton and Elizabeth Morse: Hezekiah, b. --- 3, 1744, d. Marlborough 9 Jun 1777, unm. Will of "Hezekiah Newton of Marlborough", dated 27 Apr 1777, presented 1 Jul 1777, names mother Elesbeth the wife of Thomas Stow; sister Lydia Rise; brothers Ephraim and Abraham Stow; sister Dorothy the wife of John Temple; uncle Micah Newton; Nahum Newton, Thankful Newton, Archelus Felton and his wife Lydia, Ebenezer Horthorn. Uncle Micah Newton to be executor.
[Note: p. 462 shows that on 10 Oct 1758, Hezekiah Newton made choice of his uncle Micah Newton, "having attained more than the age of 14 years on the Day above written", suggesting he was born before 10 Oct 1744. While the date of his birth is not known other than being the 3rd of the month, speculation in this source that he was posthumous is unlikely, given that this case would only occur if he was born on the exact day his father died.]
