LEBLANC, Hester M.---Died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday Dec 29, 1981, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gonzales. She was 72, a native and resident of Sorrento. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Religious services at New River Baptist Church, St. Amant, at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. James Nichols. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by a son, Francis "Dee" LeBlanc, St. Amant; four sisters, Druice Melancon, Ruby Burson and Lessie McDaniel, all of Sorrento and Evelyn Roppolo, Baton Rouge, a brother, Walter J. Melancon, Sorrento; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Orile P. LeBlanc; a brother and a sister. She was a member of New River Baptist Church, St. Amant.
