Born in Arkansas, she retired from Lutheran Hospital. Surviving are three stepdaughters, Mary Houser of Hamilton, Rosie M. O'Keefe of Fort Wayne and Margaret Knouff of Warsaw; a stepson, Robert Wyss of Fort Wayne; a brother, Edward Martz of Fort Wayne; 23 step-grandchildren; and 34 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Barkley; second husband, Henry E. Wyss; and two infant sons. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial in Decatur Cemetery. Memorials to First Missionary Church.

"She enjoyed quilting and knitting for her family." She was retired from Lutheran Hospital and was a member of First Missionary Church and its Senior Fellowship. Surviving are stepdaughters Mary Houser of Hamilton, Rosie M. O'Keefe of Fort Wayne and Margaret Knouff of Warsaw; a stepson, Robert of Fort Wayne; a brother, Edward Martz of Fort Wayne; 23 stepgrandchildren; and 34 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Barkley, her second husband, Henry E. Wyss, two infant sons and a sister.
