Hephzibah Fisk Daught'r of Nathan Fisk and Mary his Wife Was Born in Weston August 10. AD 1754.

Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 215, says this Hephzibah m. 1787 Abraham Jones. But on p. 219, and on p. 313, he says Hepzibah, d/o Samuel Fisk and Mary Parkhurst, b. 1765, was the one who m. 1787 Abraham Jones. Given that Abraham was born in 1762 and hence a much better match for the second candidate, and given that the first candidate is not mentioned in her father's will of 1765 [Middlesex Probate 7643], the first statement is certainly wrong, and this Hephzibah died unmarried, sometime before 1765.
